Aircraft Maintenance & Parts

The vast majority of aircraft owners rely on their management company for maintenance and parts without ever obtaining quotes from other maintenance vendors. Why?

MJI's experience and volume allow our customers to enjoy the most competitive prices from the most qualified maintenance facilites and parts suppliers. We also oversee the maintenance performed on our customers' aircraft and also check the computerized maintenance report to ensure that the due list is complete and/or work is not being duplicated. And, if need be, we will "babysit" your aircraft onsite to insure your not getting overcharged. It is no surprise that this is our most popular service.

Aircraft Management

There are hundreds of management companies out there, but which is the best for your usage and aircraft type?

Each company has it own strong points and weaknesses. There are companies that are excellent with part 91 and low charter utilization, but if you want to maximize charter revenue, they may be a poor choice. Unfortunately, many aircraft owners jump from one management company to the next and never find a satisfactory solution. MJI can evaluate your needs to assist you in finding the correct management company. And, when you find the right management company, we help you negotiate a contract that reflects your needs.

For owners with their own flight department, we provide a host of support services such as contract fuel, maintenance tracking, RVSM & MEL compliance, and pre-employment screening for pilots and other critical personel.

Aircraft Finance & Interest Rate Hedging

MJI provides financing to both US and international buyers. And, we do it at the most competitive fixed and variable rates.

We also offer refinance programs and can provide custom solutions for borrowers who are currently in a negative equity position.

MJI has strong expertise in overseas transactions. We do NOT rely on the export import bank. We utilize our network of private banks, investment companies, and high net worth individual investors. We can provide a variety of structures and will tell you immediately if a deal can be arranged or not. We will not waste your time. We never ask for up front fees and only receive compensation for our success.

In addition to financing, MJI can provide interest rate caps or swaps to hedge against rising interest rates. An interest rate cap allows you to benefit from the current low variable rates and still have protection against higher interest rates where a swap locks you into a fixed rate from the onset. And, unlike swaps, rate caps have no downside risk and can be more cost effective.

In situations where there is no need to refinance, or you have variable rate debt on other non-aviation assets, we can offer rate caps and/or swaps to hedge existing obligations. MJI can custom tailor a hedging strategy for your specific situation.
